This paper describes Alternaria pluriseptata and Geotrichum candidus causing fruit rot diseases of Coccinia india Wight & Arn. The disease occurs as typical light and dark green spots on fruits due to infection of A. pluriseptata, while creamy white, hard spot due to G. candicus. By isolating the organisms on potato dextrose agar (PDA) medium studies on mycelial growth, symptomatology, pathogenicity, morphology of the pathogens were studied.
