Abstract

Reddening of leaves was more pronounced in Gossypium hirsutum (American Cotton) and it resulted in reduction in the bolls per plant, boll weight and the yield of seed cotton per plant. About 30–60 percent yield loss may occur depending on variety and reddening intensity.
