Abstract

Infection of turmeric rhizomes by Sclerotium ralfsii decreased total soluble sugar, reducing sugar, starch, DNA and RNA, the decrease was more pronounce in rhizomes infected by resistant isolate. The polyphenols increased due to the infection of S.rolfsii.
