Abstract

There was variation in MIC of Ridomil Gold among the five isolates of Phytophthora palmivora var. piperina on the agar plates and Black pepper vines. MIC on the agar plates ranged from 2500 to 4600 μg/ml, while it was 2000 to 3000 μg/ml on Black pepper vines. Isolate PP-3 was sensitive. The resistant isolate PP-1 showed MIC of Ridomil gold as 4600 and 3000 μg/ml, in vitro and in vivo respectively.
