Influence of Plant Growth Regulators on Rooting of Air Layers in Litchi (Litchi Chinensis Sonn.)

Abstract

Treatment combinations of 3 cultivars (Rose Scented, Calcuttia and Late Bedana) and 3 concentrations of IBA and NAA, along with control, were laid out in Factorial Randomized Block Design. The findings revealed that IBA (3000 ppm) significantly improved the number of roots per layer, root dry weight and number of rooted air layers.
