Eight species of myxomycetes are discussed. Symphytocarpous lng and Nann. - Brem., Physarella Peck and, Physarina Hohnel, have been reported with one species each, while Craterium Trent with three species and, Lepidodermopsis Hohnel, with two species each. All species are reported for the first time from Maharashtra.
