Abstract

Eighteen fungi were isolated from the seeds of pigeonpea (Cajanus cajan L. Millsp.) varieties. Most dominant fungal species were Aspergillus flavusM, Aniger, A.niduans, A.fumigatus, A.orizae, Penicillium citrinum Fusarium oxysporum, Altemaria solani, A.altemata, Drechslera tetramera, Curvularia lunata, Rhizopus stolonifer, Cheatomium sp., Mucor sp. and mycelia sterilia.
