Abstract

During the survey, 24 genera and 31 species belonging to 14 families of beetles were reported from Pune District (M. S.). Agro-climatic conditions, agricultural practices and pasture areas in the vicinity were some of the factors directly concerned with diversity and distribution of this insect fauna.
