Abstract

Studies were undertaken to standardize the optimum incubation period and agitation (rpm) for the growth of three locally isolated bioplastic producing microorganisms. The incubation period for 36 hours with agitation at the rate of 100 rpm, were found to be optimum for maximum bacterial growth and production of Polyhydroxyalkanoates.
