Abstract

In present investigation efforts were made to determine secondary metabolites in plants having antimicrobial activity. Eucalyptus globulus had highest phenol (19.2mg/100gm) and tannin (7.83mg/100gm) content, while Mormordica charantia had lowest phenol and tannin (7.2 and 1.73mg/100gm) contents respectively, among the plant studied.
