Abstract

The fatty acid content and antimicrobial properties of Lemon (Citrus limonum) seed oil were examined. The oil was extracted and processed in GC for analysis of fatty acids, 97.35% of which was found to be oleic acid. Antimicrobial activity of the oil was maximum against Escherichia coli and Bacillus cereus.
