Silage were made from foliages of bajra, cowpea, Dolichos and the mixture of bajra with either cowpea or Dolichos. The silage samples contained nutrients in appriciable quantity for animal feeding. However, on the basis of pH values, the silages were not of superior quality and demanded need of silage additives.
