The variation in respect to protein,amino acid,fat, carbohydrate and water content of shoot, leaf and seeds of Rhodendron grande Wt. was studied. The percentage of fat in shoot, leaf and seed were comparatively high as compared to carbohydrate content, indicating that the plant is growing in a harsh, cold climatic condition.
