Six species of hyphomycetes viz., Chaetendophragmia triangularia var. Africana, Dictyosporium elegans, D. heptasporum, Diplocladiella sclaroides, Flagellospora pencilloides and Helicosporium phragmitis collected from ponds, lakes and rivers in Ahmednagar district are reported. Of these C. triangularia var. africana, D. eIegans, D. heptasporum and Flagellospora pencilloides are additions to the fungi of Maharashtra. The aquatic mycota represented a mixture of tropical and temperate fungi.
