Some macro fungi observed in the forests of Aurangabad district are reported in this paper. The macro fungi were observed on tree trunks. After first few showers of monsoon, the macro fungi belonging to Basidiomycotina were found to be growing on tree trunks and they were causing decay. These were species of Lentinus, Ganoderma, Schizophyllum, Poria, Volvariella, Trametes, Steccherinum and Hexagonia.
