Knowledge on improved cotton cultivation technology was assessed among 120 farmers in Vidarbha region. On an average, 70.0% of the respondents had medium level of knowledge followed by low (20.83%) and high (9.17%) levels. The knowledge scores of respondents ranged from 3–10 indicating wide variation. Only 0.48 and 0.86% respondents were having proper knowledge about appropriate seed rate and fertilizer use respectively.
