Abstract

Wettable powder and oil based formulations of Nomuraea rileyi were prepared and shelf life studies for each formulation at refrigerated and normal room temperature were done. The conidia of Nomuraea rileyi lost their viability with increase in storage period. However, the refrigerated condition was found to be superior over room temperature. These formulations were then evaluated against third instar larvae of Helicoverpa armigera under laboratory condition. Mortality of the larvae increased with increasing exposure period and concentration of fungal spores.
