Abstract

The thermal efficiency of single pot Chetak and double pot Udairaj improved cook stoves was 23.34 and 24.30% respectively as compared to 12.20% of traditional cook stove. The combustion efficiencies were 62.3 and 81.8% respectively, which was 56.4% in traditional cook stove. Thus the improved cook stoves were more efficient.
