The effect of brassinolide on activities of four oxidizing (catalase, peroxidase, polyphenol oxidase and IAA oxidase) and two hydrolyzing (Ribonuclease and protease) enzymes of radish plants were studied. Brassinolide stimulated the activity of catalase while decreased the activities of peroxidase, polyphenol oxidase and IAA oxidase. Brassinolide-treatment further resulted in lowered protease and ribonuclease activity.
