Abstract

An experiment was conducted to standardise planting ratio of female and male parents in the seed production plot to achieve maximum hybrid seed yield. The results indicated that 2: 8 male to female planting ratio gave better results with respect to yield attributes per plant and seed quality parameters as compared to that with 2:12 and 2:16 ratios.
