Abstract

A laboratory experiment was conducted to determine effect of commonly used insecticides i.e. profenofos 50 EC, cypermethrin 10 EC, lambdacyhalothrin 5 EC, imidacloprid 17.8 SL and thiamethoxam 25 WG on performance of T. chilonis. Imidacloprid and thiamethoxam caused least adverse effect on % parasitization and provided 74.35 and 74.15% parasitization respectively, as compared to lambda-cyhalothrin, cypermethrin and profenofos with only 52.60, 52.42 and 41.58% parasitization respectively.
