Present investigation was undertaken to explore Eupatorium cannabinum for its immunomodulatory potential.Animals treated with aqueous extracts prepared from natural, in vitro shoot organ cultures and callus cultures were immunized with ship red blood cells (SRBC) and their blood samples and spleen were collected for immunological tests. Results revealed that extracts of shoot organ cultures possessed maximum immunomodulatory activity. The shoot organ culture extracts increased spleen weight by 46.15%, antibody titre by 16 times, NBT by 34.67%, iNOS by 19.68% and bactericidal activity by 19.2%.
