Abstract

Sensitivity of 20 isolates of Alternaria tenuis from infected Grape (Vitis vinifera L.) against Aureofungin indicated that isolate At-1 was sensitive (MIC-324.89 mg/ml) while isolate At-19 (MIC-974.74 mg/ml) was tolerant. Aureofungin resistant mutant of Alternaria tenuis was fit for its survival. This was due to the reproduction of resistant mutant on the Aureofungin treated grape berries.
