Thrips incidence was comparatively more in rainy season than winter and summer. The morning relative humidity and rainfall were positively and significantly correlatedwith thrips damage, while afternoon relative humidity correlated positively and highly significantly with thrips damage. The cumulative effect of weather parameters on the thrips damage revealed that they affect to an extent of 93 per cent (R2 = 0.934) as indicated by step wise regression analysis.
