Abstract

A field investigation was conducted at cotton research unit, Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola (Maharashtra) during kharif season of 20092010 on medium deep soil. Minimum reddening and maximum seed cotton yield was observed with six split doses of nitrogen. Application of RDF (50:25:25 kg N:P:K ha−1) recorded significantly highest seed cotton yield.
