The most suitable media for better growth of Sclerotium rolfsii were Potato dextrose agar and Malt extract agar media. Potato dextrose agar (PDA) and Peptone sucrose agar media were suitable for sclerotial production of S. rolfsii. Rhizoctonia solani preferred Peptone sucrose agar followed by Malt extract agar and Potato dextrose agar media for mycelial growth, while Potato dextrose agar followed by Malt extract agar and Urd leaf agar medium were better for sclerotia formation. Potato dextrose agar, Malt extract agar and Rice meal agar media were suitable for the radial growth of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. ciceri and fungus produced abundant sporulation on all media tested except Czapek's dextrose agar and Peptone dextrose rose bengal agar. Czapek's dextrose agar medium was found to be least beneficial for all supportive pathogens
