Nineteen taxa of the genus Alysicarpus. Desv were investigated for their anatomical study. The cortical tissue as well as dermal layers showed considerable variations. The vascular bundles showed variation in their size and contents. It appears that within the limits of these variations, every taxon reveal unique anatomical structure.
