Five varieties and thirty nine germplasms of Indian bean (Lablab purpureus L.) were screened against anthracnose (Colletotrichum gloeosporioides Penz. and Sacc.) under field condition. Three varieties, Kapasi, JNP-4, Katargam; and two germplasms NP8 and NP21 showed resistance against anthracnose, while fifteen were found to be moderately resistant. Variety NPS1 was found highly susceptible to anthracnose.
