Nanded region is blessed with fresh water resources in the form of rivers,reservoirs and ponds which are the natural habitats for molluscs. During present study 24 species of fresh water molluscs were collected and identified.Maximum species were collected from Derala tank while minimum from Godavari river. Details about the methodology, site selection and identification of species has been discussed.
