Total seventeen seed born fungi were reported from pulses. Among them Aspergillus flavus, A. fumigatus, A. niger, Drechslera tetramera, Fusarium moniliforme and Rhizopus stolonifer were found to be common. There was considerable reduction in seedling emergence, shoot and root length of pulses due to the infestation of these fungi.
