In this experiment the mean no. of embryos recovered were 2.8±0.37 and 2.0±0.5 in 1st and 2nd group respectively. The overall response of superovulation was 80 and 100%. Examination of embryo quality in 1st group revealed 4 good quality 5 medium quality and 5 of poor quality morulla. The remaining 4 embroyos were of degenerated type. Similarly in the second group out of 10 embryo recovered 4 were of good quality 4 of medium quality and 2 of poor quality morulla. In this group 3 unfertilized ovum were also recovered. These results indicate that for superovulation both the hormones may be used, however, for better embryo recovery follotropin should be prefared.
