Correlation studies between yield attributing charecters & yield of paddy was done during Kharif 2000 and 2001 at JNKVV-Jabalpur. The results showed that the significantly positive correlation was observed between grain and straw yield (0.776), effective tillers (0.664), weight of ear (0.732) and test weight of 1000 seed (0.458). While weeds population/m2 (0.875), weed biomass (0.595) and population of ecainocloba krishgalli (0.649) was observed negetive correlative with seed yield.
