Abstract

An experiment was conducted under MSSRF - OSU Collaborative Project on farmer's fields at Narsinghpur district of Madhya Pradesh during 2002–03, 2003–04 and 2004–05. The data indicates that Wheat grain yield was significantly higher under GRD + FYM (34.78 q ha−1) over other treatments. The lowest yield of Wheat (20.22 q ha−1) was recorded under farmers practice. This is attributed to balance nutrition under IPNS & GRD + FYM & nutrient stress under farmers practice. Present study established the superiotiy of intergration as well as continuous use of chemical fertilizers with organic manures for sustaining higher productivity of crop.
