Abstract

In relation to quality crop production, the experiments on storage of wheat the main crop of Grid region were conducted in two villages (Barua and Susera) during last two years (2005–06 and 2006–07). In which four different methods of storage were applied and the wheat seeds were stored for six months, that the results were assessed. The results of the experiments showed that the maximum damage of seeds (40.3%) was observed in treatment control and minimum damage in treatment improved method (chemical method). The results of the rest two treatments (T2 - own tradiional) method and T3 - use of dried neem leaves) were in between T1 and T4 treatments.
