Abstract

An experiment was conducted under M. S. Swaminathan Research Foundation - OSU Collaborative Project on farmer's fields at Narsinghpur district of Madhya Pradesh during 2002–03, 2003–04 and 2004–05. The data indicated that soyabean grain yield was significantly higher under GRD + FYM (2799 Kg ha−1) Over other treatments. The lowest yield of soyabean (1693 kg ha−1) was recorded under farmers practice. This is attributed to balance nutrition under IPNS & GRD + FYM & nutrient stress under F. P. Present study established the superiority of intergration as well as continuous use of chemical fertilizers with organic manures for sustaining higher productivity of crop.
