Experiment conducted at Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, College of Veterinary Sci. & A.H. Anjora, Durg (C.G.) revealed that the napier cv. Co-1 produced highest green (685.5 q/ha.) and dry (110.6 q/ha.) fodder yield. Similarly under this treatment, highest cost of cultivation (Rs. 8180/-), gross income (Rs. 20565/-) and net income (Rs. 12385/-) per hectare were also observed. However, cost: benefit ratio was highest (1: 1.64) in local shol grass followed by Sudan grass (1: 1.57). The lowest cost of cultivation (Rs. 5930/- ha.) was recorded with stylow grass under study.
