Effect of conjunctive use of alkali/canal water for weight loss of potato tubers for storage

An experiment was conducted in conjunctive use of alkali/canal waters in potato sunflower crop rotation in R.B.S. college Bichpuri, Agra on the year 1998–99 to 2002–03. There for nine treatments were uses in this experiment. The results found that the potato weight loss of 38.7% and 66.3% in canal irrigated and alkali irrigated plots, respettively. The other treatments weight loss was between their ranges but 1CW: 1 AW, 2CW: 1AW: 2CW and mixing (2CW + 1AW) was similer & superior to other treatments.
