The alkali soil reclamation plays a very important role in the agricultural and rural development. A socio-economic investigation conducted in Kamal and Kurukshetra block of Haryana to assess the impact of alkali soil reclamation technology on rural development, indicated that the alkali land reclamation on technology has remarkably favourable impact on resource use, crop production, decision making capacity, role of farm women, change in aspiration level, social participation an enviroment which ultimately led to positive socio economic changes in the society and integrated rural development.
