Abstract

These adpative research trails were conducted in all the blocks of Rewa District during the year 1999–2000 and 2000–01 in rabi reason on the cultivators field. On the basis of mean analysis, it was found that scientfic cultivation by adopting improved technology is always proved better in respect of yield and net profit as compared to conventioanl method of cultivation and farming. It was noticed that use of herbicides (Isoproturon@1.5 kg/ha) was found effective in controlling weeds of irrigated wheat and there by net income of RS. 11303/ha was recorted which was more than hand weeding and without weeding. The november 1st week sowing gave higher yield as compared to decomber sowing. It was also found that inter cropping gave higher net return as composed to alone & mixed cropping of musterd linseed.
