Study on weed flora in Kharif season in non-cropped and garbage area in Bhind, Morena and Gwalior district of Madhay Pradesh
Abstract
A survey of weed flora in Kharif season in non cropped and garbage area of Bhind, Morena and Gwalior district of M.P. was conducted in year 2008. Results revealed that Parthenium hysterophorus and Cynodon dactylon were found dominant weeds in non cropped area of Gwalior district while Cynodon dactylon and Physalis minima were dominant weeds of same region. Similarly Parthenium hysterophorus was dominant weed in non cropped area Bhind district and Cyndon dactylon was dominant weed in non-cropped area of Morena district. Cynodon dactylon and Xanthium strumarium were dominant weeds in garbage area of Bhind and Morena district respectively.
