Abstract

Present experiment was conducted during the year 2006–07 in sandy loam soil at department of soil science and agriculture chemistry. Udayapratap College farm, Varanasi (U.P.) Result revealed that application of sulphur had significant and beneficial effect on all the growth and yield attributes as compared to control. Among all the treatments T7 was found significantly superior over others. An increase in percentage of oil content along with its constituents like oleic acid, lenoleic acid and decrease in erucic acid content was registered.
