Abstract

A pot house experiments conducts on vertisol during rabi season of 2006–07 at Jabalpur. Overall maximum impact in treatment 10 was obtained where 50% P was added, with chemical fertilizer, rest of the 50% given throgh FYM alongwith PSB biofertilizers compared to the other treatments under this treatment the maximum grain yield was 12.5 g/pot similarly the highest nutritive uptake like Nitrogen 475 mg kg−1 phosphorus 44 mg kg−1 and potassium 141 mg kg−1 was obtained under this treatment. The treatment No. 10 also gave higher and significantly response. The results rvealed that use of 50% of the chemical fertilizer along with FYM and biofertilizer increase the production and quality of the produce and maintain soil health also under INM approaches.
