The cucurbits long melon, long gourd, water melon, musk melon, sponge gourd, round gourd and Ash gourd were found having salt tolerance up to 4 ds/m, whereas cucumber, bitter gourd and pumpkin were found sensitive. The ECe was determined at sowing, midstage and at harvest of the crop. In raised bed sowing method more salts were accumulated in upper top of the bed while the salts were minimum in furrows.
