The experiment was conducted at Zonal Agriculture Research Station Khargone (M.P.) during kharif 2005–06 and 2006–07. In this experiment the performance of some prominent groundnut varieties were tested under various levels of manures and fertilizers. Among the varieties KGN-23 produced maximum haulm and dry pod yields with the highest net profit and B: C ratio. The yield variation due to manuring and fertilizers levels were significant over un fertilized control treatment, the haulm and dry pod yield were minimum under control plots i.e. 2021 and 1053 kg/ha. respectively. The 50% application of recommended dose through fertilizer and 50% through FYM produced highest haulm (3732 kh/ha) and dry pod yields (1864 kg/ha) with the maximum pet profit of Rs. 23149/ha. However the highest B: C ratio (2.47) was obtained from 100% recommende dose of fertilizers only.
