Influence of intercropping and bio-insecticides on the population of ecofriendly insects inhabiting pigeon pea

The pigeon pea based intercrops significantly enhanced the population of spiders (Oxyopus sp., Clubiona sp. and Araneus sp.) and lady's bird beetles (Coccinella septempunctata and Menochelous sexmaculatus).While the population of predators green lacewing (Chrysoperla carnea), fragonfly (Crocothemis servilia) and parasitoids Euderus lividus and Apanteles sp. were not influenced by intercropping.
