An experiment was conducted under M.s. Swaminathan Research Foundation -O.S.U. - J.N. Krishi Vishwa Vidhyalaya, Jabalpur collaborative project on farmer's field at three villages of Narsinghpur block in Narsinghpur district of Madhya Pradesh during 2001–02 to 2004–05. Under this project Soybean, Wheat and Chickpea were selected for sowing the FLD's in farmers field. Total four quintals breeder seed of soybean and wheat each three and half quintals of chickpea crop were used. Due to these interventions like use of improved seed and production technoogy the percent increase of the yield over conventional farming were 53, 40, 45, 32 in soybean 38, 40, 46, 39 in wheat and 42, 43, 46, 42 in chickpea crop. There was significant growth of economic status of farmers in all three villages due to distribution and replacement of improved seed and technological methods. Therefore, present study clearly indicates the use of improved inputs with integration of chemical fertilizers with organic manures sustain higher productivity of crops.
