Abstract

A field experiment was conducted at Agriculture Research Farm of Ch. Charan Singh, Shiv Dhan Singh (P.G.) College, Iglas, Aligarh during rabi season of 2003–04 to find out the most suitable variety of wheat among newly evolved HVY'S for maximum grain production and fertilizer (N) response of wheat varieties, investigations for yield maximizations. Wheat cultivar PBW-343 fertilized with 120 kg N/ha recorded the highest yield of grain, straw from timely sown crop of wheat in ago-ecological condition of district Aligarh (U.P.)
