An experiment was conducted during kharif season on 2010 and 2011 at college of agriculture, farm Gwalior (M.P.) under AICRP on arid legumes. On the basis of two year pooled data results it is revealed that application of 20 kg nitrogen/ha in cluaterbean as basal gave significatly highest seed yield (2481 kg/ha), net monetary return (Rs. 113596/ha) and BCR (8.97) over all the treatments, followed by 10 kg N/ha as basal application + spray of 1% urea on vegetative stage produced seed yield (2125 kg/ha), net monetaty return (Rs. 94743/ha) and HCR (7.46).
