Abstract

Thirty-six genetically diverse genotypes of Aswagandha were studied for linear correlation in nine traits. Dry root yield, fresh root yield, root length and root diameter were found to be positively and significantly correlated with plant height and plant canopy, except number of branches, internodal distance and leaf area. Plant height, plant canopy were observed to be good selection criteria for Aswagandha.
