The study was conducted purposively in Jhabua district of Madhya Pradesh in 2010–11 to know the job performance of Integrated Child Development Service (ICDS) worker in terms of socio-personal, social economical and psychological attributes of ICDS workers. The major problem reported by ICDS workers were lack of co-operation from the rural people, and lack from public representatives. Suggesstion made by the ICDS workers for improving their job performance for successful implements of ICDS program are providing them accommodation facilities, Provision of recreation material like charts, toys etc., good salary along with other allowances, arrangement of handpump, toilet at Anganwadi centres, providing supplementary food for children and provision for renewal of technical knowledge of ICDS workers.
